WELLSBORO SHADE TREE COMMISSION
The mission of the Wellsboro Shade Tree Commission is to protect and preserve the shade tree canopy in the Borough of Wellsboro. A comprehensive tree care program has been developed which includes:
Street Tree Inventory
Hazard Removal Program
Bare Root Planting Program
Group stump removal program
Pruning clinics and demonstrations
Proper tree care for preservation of our shade canopy
Homeowner technical assistance
Planting Plan Approval for Commercial Development
We work in close conjuction with Vinnie Cotrone, Penn State University Urban Forester and Bernie Dincher, ISA Board Certified Master Arborist.
